Basic Education Admission

The school reserves the right to deny admission to any applicant for enrolment who in the judgement of the administration, shall not be in a position to carry out its aims, objectives, procedures and policy.
  1. Kindergarten Pupils and Transferees In the case of Grade School Kindergarten pupils and transferees, the following steps should be followed. Present the following credentials: birth certificate (original and photocopy), baptismal certificate (original and photocopy) and report card to the Guidance Office.
    1. Fill up the application form and attach 1x1 recent ID picture.
    2. Take and pass the entrance examination administered by the school.
    3. Undergo an interview together with the parent authorized guardian.
    4. The old timers present their report card. A pupil whose average is below 75% or fails in three (3) of the major subjects (English, Mathematics, Filipino and Science) shall not be re-admitted the following school year.
  2. Foreign pupils may be admitted upon compliance with all the requirements of the Commission of Immigration, Department of Foreign Affairs to the Department of Education (DepEd). Upon enrolment at Sta. Teresa College, a foreign pupil shall submit the following credentials as additional requirements:
    1. Photocopy of Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR), duly signed by the officer from the Foreign Students Division, Department of Education (DepEd).
    2. Approved study permit from the Foreign Students Division and course evalutaion papers from the Department of Education (DepEd).

    Pupil who has dropped / transferred to another school but seek re-admission should undergo an interview with the Guidance Counselor. He / She should bring with him / her the report card with no failing grades and letter of request for re-admission from parents. He / She is also required to take and pass the entrance examiniation that shall be administered by the school. For the transferees, they should also present good moral certificate.

    1. Present the report card to the Registrar's Office and get registration form.
    2. Present filled-up registration form to the Registrar's Office for approval.
    3. Proceed to the Accounting Office for assessment and payment.
    4. Submit the Registrar's copy of the registration form to the Registrar's Office for final enrolment.

    At the end of each academic year, the pupils are re-classified / re-sectioned. The criteria are academic performance and behavior during the year.
